MSDS/SDS Documentation 16-Section SDS Format Export & Shipping Use Cases Product Safety Communication

About the compliance team

MSDS Bharat publishes product-specific guidance around the decisions businesses face before a shipment, buyer request, courier query or internal safety review. The content explains what information is needed, where uncertainty remains and why one generic template cannot represent every formulation.

Preparation methodology

Requirement and scope reviewThe product, physical form, formulation count, intended use, destination and requesting party are checked before the job is confirmed.
Source-data reviewAvailable composition ranges, identifiers, label data, physical properties, packaging and existing technical records are organised. Lab testing is not assumed to be part of the standard service.
16-section draftingProduct-specific hazard, handling, storage, exposure, disposal and transport information is prepared in the structured SDS format.
Internal consistency checkProduct identity, composition context, classifications, precautions and Section 14 statements are checked for consistency with the supplied information.
Delivery and scoped revision supportThe digital file is delivered after review. Factual correction requests are assessed against the original product data and agreed scope.
Important: preparation begins only after the required product information and payment are available. The usual 24–48 hour window is measured from that point, not from the first enquiry.

What the ₹3,999 scope does—and does not—cover

The price is flat for one defined product and formulation. These boundaries keep the enquiry, preparation work and delivered file aligned.

Included in the standard scope

  • One digital 16-section MSDS/SDS for one product and formulation.
  • Review of the product details supplied for that formulation.
  • Hazard, handling, storage, exposure and disposal communication.
  • Section 14 transport information where applicable to the available data and stated use case.
  • Scoped factual-correction review after delivery.

Outside the standard scope

  • Laboratory testing, certification of test results or sample collection.
  • Government approval, product registration or legal opinion.
  • Guaranteed acceptance by a buyer, courier, marketplace, customs desk or authority.
  • Additional formulations, translations or materially different destination requirements.
  • Inventing missing composition, hazard or transport data.

Confidentiality process

Product and formulation information is requested only to review the enquiry, prepare the agreed document and support delivery. Access should remain limited to people and service providers needed for that work; product data is not presented as a public case study without permission.

Output review points

  • Product name and physical form remain consistent across sections.
  • Composition context supports the stated hazard communication.
  • Handling, storage, first-aid and exposure controls do not conflict.
  • Transport wording is qualified to the data and stated shipment context.
  • Unsupported claims such as “government approved” or “guaranteed acceptance” are not used.
