Whether the product must be supplied with an SDS depends on classification, supply context and applicable rules; an SDS is not a universal government-issued certificate.
A listing platform, courier, industrial buyer or export customer may ask for an SDS even where the finished product is not classified as hazardous. The correct response is a technically supported document—not automatic warning pictograms or a fabricated UN number.

What the finished SDS should cover
A standard GHS-format SDS uses 16 sections: identification; hazards; composition; first aid; fire-fighting; accidental release; handling and storage; exposure controls; physical properties; stability; toxicology; ecology; disposal; transport; regulatory information; and other information. The required content and treatment of particular sections depend on the destination jurisdiction.
Resin and hardener components typically require separate assessments before mixing.
A defensible authoring workflow reviews ingredient evidence, classifies the finished mixture, checks label elements, documents missing data and aligns statements across the sections. A supplier raw-material SDS can support that evaluation but cannot simply be renamed as the finished-product SDS.

Can I use an ingredient SDS for the finished product?
No. Ingredient documents are useful inputs, but the final mixture must be assessed using its actual composition and physical properties.
Does every product need a UN number?
No. A UN number is assigned only where a transport dangerous goods classification applies. Unknown does not mean a number should be invented.
Can one SDS cover several variants?
Sometimes. Variations must be reviewed for differences in composition, hazards, intended use and jurisdiction before grouping them.
Is an SDS the same as an approval certificate?
No. An SDS communicates safety information; it does not itself certify registration, product performance or shipping approval.
