Flat $120 SDS authoring · 24–48-hour delivery
Standard SDS authoring
USD $120 flat fee
24–48 hours
Per defined product and finished formulation, for standard English-language SDS authoring.
What the fee covers
Product-specific SDS
Defined 16-section document
Based on the technical information supplied for the finished product and its intended destination.
The standard 24–48-hour turnaround begins after complete product information is received and the authoring scope is confirmed. Additional laboratory testing, translations, regulatory localization or distinct formulations require separately agreed scopes. Marketplace acceptance is decided by the platform.
A ready-to-use all-purpose cleaner and the concentrate used to make it can have different SDS classifications. Evaluate the formula actually supplied, including pH and supporting raw-material data, before deciding what belongs on the label and marketplace documentation.
First determine whether the SKU is RTU or concentrate
A pre-diluted 500 mL spray and a one-liter concentrated refill are not automatically the same SDS product. Document exactly what the buyer receives and any prescribed dilution, without treating a future customer-made dilution as the product sold.
| SKU example | Critical distinction |
|---|---|
| Ready-to-use kitchen counter spray | Final surfactant/solvent concentrations, pH, added fragrance and pump bottle. |
| Concentrated multi-surface cleaner | Neat mixture hazards, dilution instructions and potential eye/skin effects. |
| Fragranced variant | Changed fragrance code and sensitizer information; distinct variant identification. |
| Unscented SKU | Removal of fragrance may materially change mixture hazard evidence. |
| Refill pouch | Same formula or changed concentrate? Verify actual package and identity. |
Which ingredients need classification attention?
Surfactants may affect eye/skin hazard categories; glycol ethers or alcohols may influence exposure or flammability; alkaline builders and certain preservatives may introduce other concerns. Not every ingredient is hazardous at the final concentration. Assess mixture criteria with actual composition and reliable information.
Measured pH is a helpful data point for acid/alkaline systems but it is not a one-number guarantee of the final skin-corrosion category. Examine the whole product and any relevant tests.
Product data checklist for multi-surface cleaner brands
- Finished formula with percentages, batch/version and raw-material SDSs
- Whether ready-to-use, concentrate or dilution-kit SKU
- Measured pH and physical properties as available
- Brand, full retail product name, scent, SKU and country of intended sale
- Label and package photographs, including warnings and directions
- The relevant Amazon/TikTok request and any prior rejection text
Send the exact formula for every changed fragrance or active system. A supplier SDS can serve as a data source but should not be relabeled to claim the finished RTU product has identical hazards.
What to review across SDS Sections 2, 3, 9 and 14
Section 2 hazard statements should follow the classification supported by the available evidence. Ingredient disclosures and concentration ranges in Section 3 must follow the applicable disclosure rules. Section 9 should report measured or reliably supported properties without filling data gaps with guesses.
Section 14 concerns transport information where available; the fact that a product is household grade does not, by itself, settle a transport classification. These sections should not contradict one another.
Marketplace product matching
Use the exact brand and SKU when preparing an Amazon FBA or TikTok Shop submission. A lemon-scented spray marketed in a 500 mL bottle should not silently be represented by a different factory formulation or concentrate SDS.
Read Amazon FBA requirements and TikTok Shop guidance. If Amazon has already rejected the sheet, follow the rejection checklist.
All-purpose cleaner versus disinfectant
Removing soils is not synonymous with killing pathogens. Sanitizing or disinfecting marketing claims can trigger EPA pesticide requirements distinct from preparing an SDS. Request specialist advice before using antimicrobial claims on the listing or packaging.

Frequently asked questions
Is an all-purpose cleaner automatically non-hazardous?
No. The assessment depends on the actual finished mixture and its supported hazard data, not “all-purpose,” “natural” or similar marketing terms.
Can the concentrate SDS cover a ready-to-use spray?
Not by assumption. Compare the supplied concentrations and hazards before establishing scope for the RTU product.
Does changing a fragrance require reassessment?
Yes. Reassess any changed fragrance or preservative blend and document the consequence for the finished mixture.
Do I need a separate SDS for every bottle size?
Different volumes of an identical verified formulation may be addressed in one documented product scope, subject to packaging-related differences and marketplace requirements.
