Flat $120 SDS authoring · 24–48-hour delivery
Standard SDS authoring
USD $120 flat fee
24–48 hours
Per defined product and finished formulation, for standard English-language SDS authoring.
What the fee covers
Product-specific SDS
Defined 16-section document
Based on the technical information supplied for the finished product and its intended destination.
The standard 24–48-hour turnaround begins after complete product information is received and the authoring scope is confirmed. Additional laboratory testing, translations, regulatory localization or distinct formulations require separately agreed scopes. Marketplace acceptance is decided by the platform.
For a US room spray SDS, identify the actual water/alcohol/solvent base, fragrance and preservatives, then confirm spray mechanism, available flash point and product identity. An SDS for the fragrance concentrate—or another scent—does not automatically cover the finished room spray.
Room spray is a format, not a hazard category
“Room spray” could mean an aqueous mist with low fragrance loading, a high-solvent air freshener, a deodorizing spray or a pressurized aerosol. Hazard communication starts with the final mixture and intended supplied form. Alcohol, glycol ethers, surfactants, sensitizing fragrances and propellant gases change the questions an author must evaluate.
A seller can reuse the same bottle and product title while changing the formula. Record each formulation revision and whether the actual marketed SKU remains the same.
Manual pump, aerosol and refill: what changes?
| SKU type | Review attention |
|---|---|
| Non-pressurized linen spray | Aqueous composition, fragrance solubilizer, preservatives and available flash-point evidence. |
| Alcohol-based room spray | Actual ethanol/isopropanol levels, finished-product flammability evidence, ventilation and storage. |
| Aerosol air freshener | Propellants, pressure, package test/transport considerations and possible aerosol-specific hazards. |
| Odor-neutralizing spray | Odor-control ingredients, solvent system, inhalation/eye exposure considerations and truthful marketing claims. |
| Bulk refill concentrate | Supplied concentrate vs user-diluted spray; the dilution instructions and product identity must be clear. |
A fragrance oil SDS describes a component. Even a perfectly prepared component document cannot serve as an unchanged description of a water-based pump spray.
Physical properties that matter
The liquid’s flash point and the presence of propellant gases are different questions. A non-aerosol trigger spray should not inherit aerosol classification simply because it is sprayed; a pressurized product cannot be assessed from liquid composition alone.
For finished liquid products, review any reliable pH, relative density, appearance, flammability and other relevant data. If product data are missing, identify the gap. OSHA’s hazard-classification criteria and applicable transport rules determine whether further evidence is needed—not a generic industry assumption.
How to prepare room and linen spray SKU records
- Brand/product title, scent name, SKU and formula revision
- Complete formula, concentration ranges and component SDS files
- Spray mechanism: pump, trigger, aerosol or refill
- Finished-product pH and measured properties where available
- Bottle size, container material and pressurized packaging details
- Markets and platforms: US distributor, Amazon FBA, TikTok Shop or multiple channels
Create a separate row for each fragrance variant: changes in the perfume concentrate can change the mixture’s sensitization classification even when the water or alcohol base remains identical.
Marketplace checks for room sprays
For Amazon FBA, verify that the SDS corresponds to the ASIN and brand shown in the product detail page. Resolve potential inconsistencies between the physical property fields and Sections 2 and 14 instead of altering values to force a classification.
For TikTok Shop, ensure the submitted sheet describes the identical room spray and package; do not upload the supplier’s perfume-oil SDS in place of the final marketed item. Both marketplaces make their own acceptance decisions.
Use the Amazon FBA guide, TikTok Shop guide and Amazon rejection troubleshooting as needed.
Room spray versus perfume: choose the correct guide
Perfumes are generally prepared for personal fragrance use; a room spray is sold for environmental application. The intended use, formula and exposure scenarios matter even where both contain ethanol or the same fragrance concentrate. For body fragrance see perfume SDS USA.
Do not state that a household spray disinfects or sanitizes merely because it contains alcohol. Claims of antimicrobial effectiveness can raise separate EPA-related requirements unrelated to SDS authoring.
Request professional SDS authoring for your US product
Provide the formula, raw-material SDSs, US product identity and any marketplace request. Professional US SDS authoring is offered at USD $120 per defined product, for a defined product; final scope and turnaround are confirmed after reviewing the information supplied. No acceptance or transport outcome is guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions
Is a room spray SDS different from a perfume SDS?
Often yes: their formulas, uses, exposure considerations and package forms can differ. Review the supplied finished product, not just shared fragrance ingredients.
Does a pump spray count as an aerosol?
Not automatically. A pressurized aerosol container and a manual mechanical pump are different package formats; describe the actual system.
Can I group 20 room spray scents into one SDS?
Only after evaluating composition, concentrations and hazards for each variant and confirming the proposed document scope. Shared branding is not sufficient.
Should the SDS show the fragrance supplier or my US brand?
Section 1 should accurately identify the required US manufacturer, importer or other responsible party, where the OSHA rules apply, and identify the finished product.

Choose the guide that matches your actual finished formula or ingredient, especially if a marketplace has requested product-specific documentation.
Before requesting room-spray authoring
Identify the exact finished spray, distinguish manual pumps, aerosols and refills, and list the carrier and other ingredient records available. Keep the product label and marketplace request with the same formula version.
Your brief should include the intended market, requesting party and deadline. Keep confidential composition out of the public form; agree the appropriate transfer method during follow-up.
Standard Professional Authoring is flat USD $120 per defined product, with 24–48-hour delivery after complete technical information and scope confirmation. Confirm separately scoped work before ordering.
